While a candidate for this week's Pepsi NFL rookie of the week (don't forget to vote), Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton was one of seven players considered for this week's AFC Offensive Player of the Week. During Cincinnati's 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, Dalton completed 56.4% of his passes for 217 yards, three touchdowns and a passer rating of 97.9. The award was given to the unlikely recipient, Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore, who completed 17 of 23 passes for 244 yards, three touchdowns and a passer rating of 147.5.
Other nominations for the AFC Offensive Player of the Week includes Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (28 of 47 for 300 yards passing and a touchdown), Texans running back Arian Foster (124 yards rushing on 19 carries and a touchdown), Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson (141 yards receiving on seven receptions and three touchdowns), Broncos running back Willis McGahee (163 yards rushing on 20 carries and two touchdowns) and Houston running back Ben Tate (115 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown).
Cincinnati hasn't had an AFC Offensive Player of the Week this season.
